The Marvel's Avengers campaign will last from 10 to 12 hours; all up to 30 hours

The Crystal Dynamics title will be released in May with multiplayer mode and an individual campaign that is now detailed.

One of the main attractions of Marvel’s Avengers will be, according to Crystal Dynamics , its campaign. This single player adventure , which will complement the expansive multiplayer mode they are designing for the long term, will last between 10 and 12 hours , says one of the senior directors of the studio, Rich Briggs.

“I think it will depend exactly on how much you deepen and how far you want to go,” he says in relation to the question about the duration of that individual campaign that we could already test in our visit to Gamescom 2019 held this past August. “If you think of previous Crystal games, you know that if you want to get to the point in the main story, it will be around those parameters; about 10 or 12 hours ”he adds.

But it all depends on our degree of involvement. “If you want to see everything, all side missions and everything else, you could generally wait about 30 hours at the Tomb Raider games; so although we are not putting those numbers exactly here, you can expect something equivalent to what we have done in the past in this regard. And, of course, you also have the extended narrative with the post launch content. ”

Ms. Marvel, confirmed as sixth playable character

Nolan North (Iron Man), Troy Baker (Bruce Banner), Laura Bailey (Black Widow), Jeff Schine (Captain America) and Travis Willingham (Thor) are the voice actors of the protagonist Avengers, although it remains to be seen who will play the Last character confirmed for the game, the sixth, which is none other than Ms. Marvel .

One of the concerns of the study is how to prevent players from becoming bored , “We don’t want people to feel bored or run out of things,” says Scot Amos, leader of Crystal Dynamics, who says they have learned from other rivals within the genre about “what works and doesn’t work” and the speed at which “the most enthusiastic can consume all the content”.
