2022 F1 French Grand Prix: Who is the favourite?

F1 next goes to Paul Ricard’s circuit, which is likely to be the last for the foreseeable future, and the circuit is likely to lose its place to the 2023 South African Grand Prix.

Charles Leclerc ended his winless streak in Austria with an impressive weekend in the mountains of Styria, losing to pole sitter and championship leader Max Verstappen.

Ferrari team-mate Carlos Sainz was not so lucky, suffering an engine failure during Verstappen’s hunt for P2. Lewis Hamilton rounded off the podium and finished in the top three for the third race in a row.
