AEW Fight Forever roster to add removed tag team in post-launch DLC

We recently learned that the AEW Fight Forever roster will be missing a main tag team at launch, but there is hope on the horizon.

Here’s everything we know so far about the AEW Fight Forever DLC, which is expected to boost the roster once it launches.

AEW Fight Forever list to add FTR to DLC after launch

With a launch likely in the coming months, the AEW Fight Forever roster continues to take shape with new match previews and reports.

One of the less positive stories in recent weeks has been the revelation that FTR, the duo of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, will not actually be participating in the game at launch.

Here we go into more detail about why seizure problems can be the cause of loss of FTR from cutting and how it can affect others.

MORE TO COME: The list should grow after launch

With the loss of FTR at launch, seemingly due to time constraints and polishing and preparing the game for the upcoming release date, there was early speculation about possible DLC.

according to Fightful Select’s latest reportthis is indeed the case, as they stated that “the roadmap is now being added as DLC for FTR.”

With FTR themselves commenting on the situation and being very understanding when it was explained to them, this could be on deck for a while.

The AEW Fight Forever roster will be missing other key tag teams

In addition to the FTR news, the same Fightful Select report gave us some insight into some wrestlers who may not be making the roster at this time.

Among them are the longstanding AEW tag team Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen), The Aclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Custer) and the pairing of Santana & Ortiz.

Additionally, Fightful also stated that Evil Uno and Jake Hager will not be available to make the first game that will be released at launch.

It’s unclear if any of these wrestlers are expected to make the roster in DLC along with FTR, but precedent makes it very possible.

We learned a few more roster members thanks to the Gamescom 2022 preview, but it’s unclear when official AEW Fight Forever shows are scheduled.
