The next League of Legends update, LoL patch 12.18, is just around the corner!
Joining the popular summer sections of League of Legends, where the popular MOBA pulls no punches with its abundance of content, is the patch that hosts the Worlds 2022 international tournament.
Unlike other updates from earlier this summer, LoL 12.18 doesn’t offer major tweaks or balances, but instead supports minor tweaks to avoid making drastic changes before a tournament.
When is LoL 12.18 coming out?
Following the official League of Legends schedule, LoL 12.18 is scheduled to be released next week. Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
If you’re looking for a more specific timeline as to what time Wednesday’s patch will play, you can expect the patch to go live after League of Legends server maintenance at 9:00am EST. Server maintenance starts at 6am EST.
What to expect from LoL 12.18
The brand new update will come with minor changes that will focus on making some adjustments to some of the champions that were changed in LoL 12.17 ahead of Worlds 2022.
Champions like Miss Fortuna, Hekarim, and the recently adjusted Maokai will have some balancing touches. Additionally, it gives the newly recruited Udyr a look, gives Li Xin buffs, prepares him for worlds, and more.
