WoW Classic WotLK Phase 2 Release Date Revealed

After sitting in the Test Realm (PTR) for two months, the developers at Blizzard Entertainment have revealed the official release date for WoW Classic WotLK Phase 2.

This stage is designed to introduce tons of content, such as the introduction of the Argent tournament, Season 6 for PvP, the next raid, Ulduar, and more.

WoW Classic WotLK Phase 2 Release Date Revealed

World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic Phase 2 continues Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

By this time, WoW Classic players have had nearly four months with the latest Wrath of the Lich King distribution and have had the opportunity to play the new Death Knight class, traverse the vast lands of Northrend and fight three raids – Naxxramas. Obsidian Prosperity and Eye of Eternity and more. Now it’s time for new content with phase 2.


At this stage, players can expect a new emblem, Emblem of Conquest, the start of the Argent tournament, a new season of PvP and of course, Ulduar, the next expansion raid, which will be released two days after the Thursday of January. 19, 2023.

Here is a small overview of what to expect:

  • Dungeon and Raid emblem changes
  • A new sign of victory sellers
  • The Argent Tournament begins
  • New season Arena 6
  • Titan Rune Dungeons
  • New raid: Ulduar
